The lock has the same features as the mechanical version, with an additional power-assisted
EN
opening function thanks to the interaction between the mechanics and the electronics.

INTERFACING FOR OPENING

The lock is opened by pressing button 1 or opening switch 2 (see diagram 1).
1. Single opening: when button 1 is pressed, the lock opens for 3 seconds (this time can be
FR
set up to 180 sec on the PC), after which it closes and the latchbolts automatically engage.
The deadbolts are withdrawn only when the door status sensor of the lock is pressed, namely
when the door closes.
2. Hold open mode: the lock can be interfaced with a switch 2. When the switched is closed,
the lock remains open; it will lock again only when the switch is opened.
N.B.: Handle locking function on Multitop Matic and Exit.
ES
When the Multitop Matic lock is locked using the key, the handle and the lock are blocked.
When this happens, the door cannot be opened with the motor.
To restore opening with the motor, the lock must be unblocked using the key.
See FAQ number #3 for more details.
With the Multitop EXIT lock, the door can always be opened using the motor.
