same time, this permits easy aeration and hose cleaning on the pressure side.
InstallationSET 2 is suitable for all external filter makes and can be used se-
lectively for various outflow options thanks to the nozzle set available as an
accessory (see accessories).
Installation
B InstallationSET 2 replaces the customary spraybar connection on the
pressure side of your external filter.
Insert the sealing rings (into the grooves) in the elbow and spraybar. Then
fit the connection, elbow, nozzle tubes and plug together. The set should
then be attached by suction cups to the desired part of the inside of your
aquarium. Then connect the hose between the connector and the filter
connection on the pressure side by means of the hose coupling.

Putting into operation

C Disconnect the external filter from the mains. Connect the pressure hose
of the filter with its hose coupling, and check whether the cap on the
connection is closed tightly. Afterwards the filter can be put into operation.
Aeration: If the water outlet on the spraybar still sprays irregularly after
several minutes, there are air bubbles in the pressure hose.
Switch the filter off and open the cap on the connection to let the air es-
cape. Re-close the cap and switch the filter on. Check all connections!
Cleaning
D To clean the pressure hose, disconnect the filter from the mains and
remove the cap on the connection. Now the hose can be easily cleaned up
to the filter connection with the appropriate cleaning brush (available as
an EHEIM accessory) through the opening.
