1-man hose level
Art.-No. M420
Please insert a 9V block battery. The battery
compartment is on the back.
The hose must be filled with water. Distilled water
is not suitable. Please use tap water. If you colour
the water with a food colouring, you can see air
bubbles better. You can also add a small amount
of salt as antifreeze.
Do not fill the hose completely, 30 cm should
remain free. Connect the hose to the appliance. Switch on the
electronics. The control lamp lights up and indicates readiness for
operation.
Air bubbles in the water lead to inaccurate measurement results.
Three mounting plates are attached to the housing. The lower edge of
the left and right mounting plates is the zero point.
Fasten the housing with two nails, or with adhesive tape where you
cannot nail.
The electronics have three different signals which
are clearly different. Coming from below you will
first hear a low tone. Where the low tone changes
to the middle tone is the zero line, the measuring
0
point. The middle tone remains about 1 cm
upwards. The exceeding of this range is indicated
by the high signal.
