7. EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE
The REINTAIR maintenance for a proper operation basically consists in protection filter replacing. It is the vital
part for the equipment purification effectiveness.
All maintenance, fixing or checking equipment operation must be carried out by trained personnel
with the enough knowledge. The required safety measurements must be always taken to avoid any risk
to the user.
7.1. FILTER SHELF LIFE
The shelf life of the two REINTAIR filter kinds for clean environments (such as offices, hospitals, etc.) and for dirty
environments (such as warehouses, industrial buildings, etc.) is detailed below:
-Pre-filter ISO COARSE 65% (G4)→
Clean environments: between 4 and 6 months / Dirty environments: between 2 and 4 months
-Absolut High Efficiency filter HEPA H14 (as long as it has the pre-filter ISO COARSE 65%)
Clean environments: between 10 and 12 months / Dirty environments: between 8 and 10 months
IMPORTANT: The filters shelf life can be reduced or to variate due to several factors such as
ambient air quality to be purified, airflow and the correct pre-filter maintenance. Regardless the
control alarms, it is recommended to check the filters periodically for their preventive maintenance
(see point 6.2)
7.2. FILTER TECHNICAL DATA
7.3. SETUP OF FILTER REPLACING
The REINTAIR product has a system to warn the user when it is requested replace the
equipment filters (both: the pre-filter and the absolute filter). This warning is displayed by the control
display. These parameters are preset from manufacture and should not be set up before using the
unit, although they can be configurated (See more details in the REG REINTAIR control manual).
7.4. FILTERS AND REINTAIR PRODUCT WASTE
In the same way as the whole REINTAIR product (as an electrical appliance that it is), used filters
cannot be wasted in normal disposal containers. They must be deposited in the specific containers
or containers for it; always using extreme protection and safety measures.
