The battery is equipped with an NTC temperature
control which allows charging only within a tem-
perature range of between 0 °C and 45 °C.
A long battery service life is achieved in this man-
ner.
A significantly reduced working period after
charging indicates that the batteries are used and
must be replaced.
Observe the notes on environmental protec-
tion.
Method of Operation
The tool holder 1 with the tool is driven by an
electric motor via a gear and impact mechanism.
The
working
procedure
two phases:
Screwing in and tightening (impact mechanism
in action)
The impact mechanism is activated as soon as
the screwed connection runs tight and load is put
on the motor. In this instance the impact mecha-
nism converts the power of the motor to steady
rotary impacts. When loosening screws, the proc-
ess is reversed.
Changing the Tool
(see figure
A
Inserting
Pull the locking sleeve 2 forward, insert the
screwdriver attachment (bit) 11 into the tool
holder 1 to the stop and release the locking
sleeve to lock the bit. For quick changing of bits,
it is recommended to use the universal bit
holder 12.
Removing
Pull forward the locking sleeve 2 and remove the
tool.
Starting Operation
Inserting the Battery
Set the rotational direction switch 9 to the centre
position = lock-off and allow the charged bat-
tery 7 to engage into the handle.
Switching On and Off
To start the machine, press the On/Off switch 10
and keep it depressed.

ily that it comes to a standstill.
To switch off the machine, release the On/Off
switch 10.
Reversing the Rotational Direction
Operate
switch 9 only at a standstill.

Right Rotation (
Push the rotational direction switch left to the stop
(for screwing in screws).
Left Rotation (
Press the rotational direction switch through to
the right stop (for loosening and unscrewing
screws and nuts).
Swivel Lighting System (see figure
A light source is integrated in the knurled thumb-
wheel 8. The lamp is activated as soon as the
On/Off switch 10 is pressed, unless the knurled
thumbwheel is in the position 0.
The setting of the light beam can be adjusted in
3 steps, depending on the tool insert being used.
In position 1 the focus of the light beam is approx.
20 mm, in position 2 approx. 150 mm and in po-
sition 3 approx. 500 mm in front of the tool
holder 1.
In position 0 the lamp is switched off perma-
nently.
Belt clip (see figure
With the belt clip 5 the machine can be hung,
e. g., to a hook. This allows for both hands to be
free while the machine is ready to hand.
The belt clip 5 can be screwed to the machine on
either side.
