1- WARNING
Sailing can be dangerous and physically demanding. Participating in sailing may result in
serious injury or death. Consult your physician prior to learning or participating in sailing.
If you are below the age of 18, you should have your parent or guardian read this warning
and instructions and should not use this product unless you are under the proper guidance
and supervision of such a person.
Observe the following safety rules when using this product:
• Obtain instructions for this product from your dealer.
• If you are new to the sport, learn how to sail with a recognised sailing school or club.
• Read and follow the manufacturer's recommendations prior to using this product.
• Ideally, obtain certified first aid training prior to using this product and carry first aid and
rescue / safety equipment.
• Never sail alone.
• Do not exceed your sailing abilities. Be aware of your limitations.
• Do not use alcohol or mind altering drugs prior to or while using this product.
• Always wear an approved personal flotation device.
• Dress appropriately for weather conditions: cold and/or warm weather can result in
hypothermia and/or exposure.
• Always attach appropriate safety tethers to removable parts.
• Use only manufacturer approved additional fittings.

• Always inspect your equipment for signs of wear and tear before sailing. Immediately
repair or replace any product that shows signs of wear and tear.
• Take time to study the conditions including weather forecasts, sea state, tides and
dangerous currents. Beware of sailing in offshore winds.
• The user of this product acknowledges both an understanding and assumption of the risk
involved in sailing.
