4 . BRANCH SELECTOR UNIT INSTALLATION
Use only accessories and parts that conform to the designated specifications when installing the
unit .
(1) Attach the rubber pads (Accessory (7)) to the top plate so that the clearance of 3/16 in. (5 mm)
between the top plate and slab is ensured. Otherwise, the vibration from the unit might be transmitted.
For the rubber pads installation instructions, refer to the figure below.

(2) When necessary, use the following procedures to change the control box mounting before hanging.
This function is available in BSF4Q only.
(Refer to Fig . 3 .)
1) Remove the control box cover. (4 screws)
2) Remove the top panel. (4 screws)
3) Remove the control box. (4 screws)
4) Remove the maintenance cover (1) from the side where the control box is to be located and the
maintenance cover (2). (4 screws)
5) Change the place of the maintenance cover (1) and (2), then attach them.
6) Change the pull out direction of the wire (EV coil) between the body and the control box.
7) Attach the control box.
8) Attach the top panel.
9) Attach the control box cover.
WARNING
• During re-positioning of the control box location and reassembly of the components, ensure that wiring
does not get damaged. Ensure that no wires are left hanging or stuck between the control box and
cover. Failure to do so may lead to electric shock or fire hazard.
