If the M Waterproof Battery shows visible signs of leakage,

dispose of it in accordance with local regulations,
as detailed in the "Disposal" section of this document.

Do not allow leaking battery fluid to come into contact
with skin, mouth, or eyes.
•
Do not expose the M Waterproof Battery to heat
(e.g., do not store in direct sunlight or in a hot car).
•
Carry the M Waterproof Battery in the carrying case
provided or in a sealed plastic bag. The M Waterproof
Battery can short circuit if it comes into contact with
metallic objects such as coins or keys.
•
High levels of static electricity may damage electronic
components of your sound processor or implant.
Care should be taken to avoid exposure of the system
to static electricity.
The M Waterproof Battery O-Ring should be inspected

prior to each use and will need to be changed
periodically. If damage to the O-Ring is observed or
suspected, replace prior to resuming use. Do not continue
use of the M Waterproof Battery if it is damaged. Doing
so may void the warranty and may compromise system
performance. If used improperly or damaged, you may
be liable for the repair cost of the product. This includes,
but is not limited to, water or particulate matter damage.

When the M Waterproof Battery is moved from a hot
environment (e.g., a sauna or whirlpool) to a colder
environment (e.g., a pool), condensation may form inside
the case. If condensation occurs, remove the processor
and place in a drying system overnight to ensure proper
