Remove the hanger bracket (A) from the canopy (B) by
loosening the two screws (MM) on the L-slots and
remove the other two screws.
Remove and save the twelve motor screws (HH) and set
them aside. You will use these screws to attach the
assembled fan blades to the motor.
Remove the cotter pin (NN) and clevis pin (OO) from the
ball/downrod assembly (C). Loosen the two setscrews
(PP) from the top of the fan motor assembly (D).
Insert the downrod (C) through the canopy (B), while
feeding power wires (I) from the fan motor (D) through
the downrod assembly (C).
Insert the downrod (C) into the motor collar. Rotate until
the holes are matched. Insert the clevis pin (OO) into
aligned holes of the collar and downrod. Secure the clevis
pin (OO) by inserting the cotter pin (NN) into the hole on the
clevis pin (OO). Tighten the two set screws (PP) on the
motor collar.
