10.3 Maintenance intervals
ATTENTION
In order to safeguard warranty claims, all service and
maintenance work during the warranty period must be car-
ried out by the authorised Kärcher Customer Service in ac-
cordance with the maintenance booklet.
10.3.1 Service indicator
NOTICE
The service display lights up when the respective
maintenance needs to be done.
The service indicator is flashing:
When the initial inspection is due after 50 operating
–
hours.
Afterwards every 250 operating hours
–
Note: The service indicator must be reset by the after-
sales service.
10.3.2 Daily before starting operations
See chapter "Prior to start/safety test".
10.3.3 After each vehicle wash
Grease all bearings that are marked with an "*" under
"Maintenance tasks/vehicle".
10.3.4 As required
Safety inspection according to local regulations by cus-
tomer service.
Check control valves for proper function *
Replace the return flow filter and the pressure filter on the hydraulic unit. *
Check the play in the bearing of the steering cylinder. *
Check the air compressor bracket. *
Check the air intake hoses of the motor.
Check the motor speed and the setting. *
Check the brakes for function and setting. *
Check the dust filter of the cabin.
Check the steering clearance.
Change engine oil.
Change engine oil filter.
Grease all bearings that are marked with an "*" under "Maintenance tasks/
vehicle".
Check the smooth running of the Bowden cables and the moveable parts X
Check the tyre condition and the tyre pressure.
Check hoses and clamps.
Check the coolant level.
Check mixing ratio of water/ anti-freezing agent.
Check the hydraulic oil level.
Check coolant hoses.
Clean the radiator laminations of the water cooler, oil cooler and air condi-
tioning system.
Check battery.
Check whether all screw joints are tight; tighten them, if necessary.
