5.5 TURNING THE EQUIPMENT OFF
To turn the equipment off, even temporary and interrupt dust delivery, the following operations shall
be carried out:
• Act on "J" operation lever and bring it from delivery position to position "1". In this position, air
keeps on being delivered together with only residual dust, which is the dust that is still present in
tubes and this allows to empty and clean ducts.
• Only after a few seconds of air delivery in position "1", bring "J" operation lever in "0" rest position.
Now ventilation system stops.
• Bring "D" general switch to "0" position, which represents "turned off".
5.6 OPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT AT THE END OF WORKING ACTIVITY
At the end of working activity, the following operations shall be carried out:
• If possible, completely empty the tank, removing all dust by delivery; this allows to avoid manually
emptying procedure. To this end, we suggest to approximately calculate the quantity of dust to be
poured in the tank before the beginning of working activity.
• If a quantity of dust still remained in the tank at the end of the utilisation, remove possible remai-
ned dust and put it in a suitable container. Before unscrewing and removing "B" tank cover, check for
"J" operation lever to be in rest position and for "D" general switch to be turned off.
• Protect your hands, eyes and mouth during emptying procedure.
• Do not utilize any object or tool for tank emptying procedure, your hands or arms either.
• Keep the equipment overturned only for strictly necessary period of time for emptying process.
• Clean the border of "K" tank and close "B" cover. Clean all external parts of the equipment by a
dry cloth.
• The equipment shall be operated for some seconds with no dust inside, with operation lever in
position "4" (maximum opening).
• Do not rinse, nor wash or wet the internal side of the tank.
In addition, it is recommended to do the following:
• Always recharge the battery after each utilisation.
• Store the equipment in a clean place, out of children's reach, protected from sun rays, frost
and humidity.

special battery charger being supplied with.
The battery charger is equipped with a pilot lamp giving important indications while recharging.
A fuse protects the electric motor from possible overloads and the battery from possible short circuits.
To handle the battery under safety conditions, the following conditions shall be followed:
• the battery shall not be moved closer to free flames;
