Start-up
Programming the physical address and ap-
plication program
Project planning and start-up with ETS ver-
sion 4 and higher.
Requirement: The device is connected and
ready for operation.
 Activate programming mode: Press the
programming button in the sensor unit,
Fig. 16 (1).
Optional: Activate programming mode
with remote control PIR KNX. Press the

The LED lights up red, Fig. 16 (2). Pro-
gramming mode is activated.
 Program the physical address and applica-
tion program.

Restricting the detection field
The detection field can be restricted using the
covering panel, e.g. to suppress sources of
interference.
 Slide the cover down (Fig. 18).
 Loosen the lens screws on the sensor unit
(Fig. 18).
 Push the lens in the direction of the angled
mounting bracket (Fig. 19).
 Remove the lens (Fig. 20).
 If necessary, cut out the covering panel
with scissors along the marked lines (Fig.
21).
 Place the covering panel in the lens and
fasten the lens again in reverse order.
