- INTRODUCTION
1.1 Reading the Use & Maintenance Manual
Before working on the equipment, carefully read and understand this Use & Maintenance Manual in order to safeguard the opera-
tor and to avoid damaging the machine.
These instructions describe how to operate the equipment safely, economically and in compliance with the current safety regu-
lations. Following these instructions helps avoid dangerous situations, reduces repair costs and down-time and extends the
life-span of the machine.
This manual is to be kept legible and in good condition. The operating and maintenance staff must have it at hand, so that it can
be read whenever needed.
1.2 Symbols and operators' competence levels
All operations herein described must be performed by qualifi ed personnel and in compliance with the manufacturer's manual.
Each procedure is accompanied by an icon which indicates the necessary operator's qualifi cation. The indication to identify the
personnel qualifi cations are given below.
Operator
Personnel who can install, operate, adjust, clean, repair, transport the equipment and carry out its routine maintenance.
Qualifi ed mechanic
Personnel capable of installing, servicing and/or repairing the equipment as directed in this manual.
AUTHORIZED SERVICE POINTS
These are the centres, indicated by Sales Staff of CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l., authorized to repair the products.

1.3 Compliance certifi cate
All the products marketed in the European Union (EU) must fully comply with the European Council Directive 2006/42/EC.
The compliance certifi cate is supplied by the manufacturer with the Use & Maintenance Manual.
1.4 Receiving the product
When receiving the product, make sure:
•
the product has not been damaged during transport;
•
the product supplied matches with the order. Check that all parts have been delivered (refer to "Product Description",
"Specifi cations" chapter).
If problems arise, contact the manufacturer's Service Department quoting all details indicated on the nameplate (refer to "Product
Identifi cation", "Specifi cations" chapter).
1.5 Warranty
•
CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. grants a 1 or 2 years warranty, depending on the kind of product, starting from the purchase date
indicated in the invoice or in any other offi cial document.
•
The warranty is to be considered valid only if the installation and use of the products have been carried out according to
the indications in the Use and Maintenance Manual or to written instructions by the Authorized Service Point personnel.
•
Parts with manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
•
Labour and transport costs are excluded from the warranty.
•
All the parts subject to wear (belts, fi lters, blades, seals, etc.) are excluded from the warranty.
•
Costs of interventions performed by the manufacturer's personnel (inspections, disassembling and assembling operations)
caused by a wrong use of the product are not included in the warranty.
•
The manufacturer's Technical Service personnel will indicate which replacements and/or repairs will be carried out under
warranty, and their decision is fi nal.
