Before You Begin

CAUTION: Risk of personal injury. Always wear safety glasses while cutting or drilling.
A two wall installation is shown throughout this manual. The installation can be installed to any
wall configuration desired.
It is recommended that the person installing the hand rail have experience framing and tiling.
Install the hand rail to adequately supported, level, plumb walls.
If this installation will include a receptor, be sure to include the knee wall dimensions in the floor
space or there will not be enough room for the receptor.
Unpack the hand rail and inspect for damage. Return the hand rail to the package until installation.
This hand rail is designed for new construction or completely remodeled tiled showers. Do not
install if any material other than tile is used for the finished wall.
Tile thickness should not exceed 5/8" (1.6 cm).
The hand rails are designed for typical bathroom tile. Tiles that vary in thickness may not allow for
proper installation and sealing.
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
