In case of frost damage
Non-return valves are installed in the hot and cold
water connections of the fitting as well as in the
shower connection.
Instructions on using the fitting
Note the sequence of illustrations on fold-out
pages 3 and 4.
Operating elements and operation
You can recognise the temperature control handle by
the 38 °C marking on the scale ring. The temperature
control handle allows you to change the water
temperature. The safety stop is preset to 38 °C. This
is reached when you turn the temperature control
handle to the stop.
This stop not only serves as a safety stop against
scalding, but also to save energy.
Figure 3: If you require hotter water, simply press
down the safety stop E2. You can continue to turn the
temperature control handle E until you reach the
water temperature you require.
Always return the temperature control
handle to 38 °C after use as described
above, otherwise the next user may scald
themselves.
Note the sequence of illustrations on fold-out
pages 3 and 4.
Inspect and clean all parts, replace as necessary and
lubricate with special grease.
Removing the thermostatic compact cartridge.
Shut off the hot
and cold water supply.
Figure 7:
1.Lever out the cap F.
2.Remove the screw G and remove the temperature
control handle E and the scale ring L.
3.Loosen the screw ring M using a suitable tool.
4.If necessary, lever out the thermostatic compact
cartridge N via the recess N1.
As a result, water remains in the fitting when the
domestic water system is drained. The fitting must
therefore be removed from the wall and emptied or
stored in a frost-free environment.
Figure 5: If you require a higher flow rate, you can
override the stop by pressing the economy button D1.
If you want to adjust the stop, proceed as follows:
Figure 5: Close the shut-off handle D.
Lever out the cap H and remove the screw I.
Remove the shut-off handle D, the splined adapter J
and the economy stop K.
Figure 6: Install the economy stop K in the desired
position.
Figure 5: Reinstall the splined adapter J.
Reinstall the shut-off handle D so that the D2 marking
on the handle coincides with the marking on the scale
ring.
Refit the screw I and fit the cap H.

Maintenance and repair

5.Remove the screw ring M.
6.Remove the thermostatic compact cartridge N.
Install in reverse order.
Figure 8: Observe the correct installation position of
the thermostatic compact cartridge N. The cam N2
must engage in the fitting recess N3.
Figure 9: Fit the scale ring L so that the 38 °C
marking points to the front .
Reinstall the temperature control handle E so
that the E1 marking on the handle coincides with
the 38 °C marking on the scale ring.
Adjustment is necessary after every maintenance
operation on the thermostatic compact cartridge, see
Temperature setting and Adjustment.
