2. Install the Grounding Outlet
NOTE: This product is equipped with two types of plugs: one
grounding plug (Figure 1) and one polarized plug (Figure 2.).
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Grounding is required for
the outlets within the drawer(s). Connect only to a Class A
Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI) or Earth-Leakage
Circuit Breakers (ELCB's) which protects against
line-to-ground shock hazard. Use 120 V, 20 A service.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Connect the polarized
plug and the three-prong plug to a properly grounded outlet
only.
Grounding Requirements
• This product must be grounded. If a malfunction or breakdown
occurs, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric
current. This will reduce the risk of electric shock.
• This product is equipped with a cord having an equipment-
grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be
plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and
grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
• This product is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit. Make sure
that the plug is connected to an outlet having the same
configuration as the plug. Do not use a plug adapter with this
product.
