CLEANING THE MACHINE
The machine must be cleaned only when it is cold and disconnected from the mains.
• Do not use ethyl alcohol, solvents, abrasive sponges and/or aggressive chemical agents.
• Do not immerse the machine in water or dry the components in a conventional and/or microwave oven.
• Daily: It is recommended that the water in the tank be changed. Do not reuse the water recovered from the tank.
• Every 15 coffees or daily: It is recommended that
WARNING: If descaling is not conducted regularly, the scale may cause malfunctions not covered by
the warranty. Do not use vinegar, lye, salt, or formic acid as they damage the machine.
DISINFECTION AND DESCALING
This operation is necessary to eliminate the oils and bacteria that form as a result of limestone residues and coffee and tea oils.
• Turn on the machine.
• Pour half a liter of water into a separate container (not supplied).
• Dissolve one packet of descaling agent (supplied in the package) in the aforementioned container.
• Remove the silicone tube from the machine tank (Fig.1) and immerse it in the container with the water and dissolved descaler.
• Press the brewing button for 3 seconds.
• Leave the solution to work for 10 seconds.
• Press the brewing button again to remove all the water with the relative descaler from the container.
• Remove the silicone tube from the container and place it back in the machine tank (Fig.1).
• Fill the tank with fresh water.
• Press the brewing button on the machine to rinse the internal parts with fresh water from the tank. Perform this treatment
according to the table below:
