Safety
The drive may only be used when built in and only in conjunction with the DGD-Intelligent-Spindle or with a
built-in nutrunner of the Modular-Tightening-System. All operators must be trained and experienced before
operating.
The local safety regulations for installation, operation, and maintenance must always be followed.

NOTE
When measuring torque and angle signals directly at the transducer, these measuring devices must be gal-
vanically separated from the protective earth conductor (PE, e.g. use oscilloscope with insulation transfor-
mer). Observe that the two 0 V references (0 V TQ/Pin D and 0 V supply/Pin E) are not shorted. lf this is
not observed, failures and measuring errors in torque measurement may occur.

Repair and Assembly
NOTE
Return complete offset drive to Sales & Service Center for repair. Any tampering with the drive can cause
erroneous results and will void the warranty.
CAUTION!
When the drive is built into the nutsetter, the tightening torque has to be observed for the union nut. See
Maintenance and Assembly Instructions, DGD-Intelligent-Spindle.
NOTE
Grease before mounting with other modular components.
