Connecting the ABL100

Connect the red wires of the ABL100 to the third brake light.
If your vehicle is equipped with a trailer coupling:

Connect the trailer coupling's brake light cable to the ABL 100.
Note that the trailer coupling's brake light cable is connected either to the left or
to the right brake light.

Insulate the two blue/black wires as well as the two black wires.
If your vehicle is equipped with a trailer coupling:

Connect the trailer coupling's brake light cable to the ABL 100.
Travel speed signal
The black/yellow wire can be connected to the speedometer signal of the vehicle.
This is not necessary for vehicles registered in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Reinsert the fuse (4) of the brake lights.
