MANUTENZIONE QUOTIDIANA
Per mantenere sempre al meglio le caratteristiche superficiali del materiale opaco è sufficiente seguire brevi e semplici regole di buona
manutenzione. Prendersi cura di questo prodotto è semplice e veloce. È sufficiente pulire con acqua saponata o comuni detergenti per rimuovere
la maggior parte delle macchie e dello sporco che si possono depositare sulla superficie. Sono in particolare consigliati detergenti in gel, o abrasivi
utilizzati con una spugna abrasiva tipo "Scotch Brite
®
", avendo cura poi di risciacquare bene la superficie; in questo modo verrà mantenuta la
finitura opaca originale, caratteristica distintiva di questo prodotto.
COME PREVENIRE I DANNEGGIAMENTI
La superficie ha una buona resistenza alle macchie in genere; ciò nonostante si sconsiglia l'utilizzo di prodotti chimici aggressivi quali acetone,
trielina, acidi o basi forti. Alcune sostanze come inchiostro, cosmetici e tinte, a contatto prolungato con il materiale, possono rilasciare coloranti.
Il tutto può essere rimosso seguendo i consigli sotto riportati. In ugual modo possono essere trattate le bruciature da sigaretta.
Non utilizzare raschietti metallici, spazzole di ferro, lame, taglierino o altri utensili domestici metallici per rimuovere macchie, vernice, stucco o
altro. Evitate gli urti e le cadute di oggetti. Evitate lo stress termico del prodotto: non utilizzare acqua bollente (superiore 55°C-130°F) e non versate
olii e liquidi bollenti sulla superficie. Non appoggiare sulla superficie oggetti roventi, sigarette o fiamme. Non utilizzate vapore caldo diretto per
la pulizia della superficie.
COME RIMEDIARE AD EVENTUALI DANNEGGIAMENTI
Alcuni usi impropri possono provocare difetti visibili sulla superficie: rimediare a segni d'usura, graffi, macchie ostinate e scheggiature è spesso
possibile con una manutenzione straordinaria. Per piccoli danneggiamenti è possibile ripristinare la superficie adoperando una spugnetta abrasiva
Scotch Brite
®
(marchio registrato 3M) e un comune detergente abrasivo. Se il difetto è ancora visibile ripassare levigando con carta abrasiva P320.
Prodotti idonei: Detergenti in crema o polvere come CIF
®
, VIM
denaturato e prodotti per la rimozione del calcare (Viakal) possono essere utilizzati avendo l'accortezza di risciacquare bene la superficie. Per
detergenti di cui non si conosce la potenziale aggressività è bene fare una prova applicativa in una piccola zona non a vista prima di utilizzare il
prodotto.
Prodotti non idonei: Solventi come acetone o trielina e altre sostanze chimiche aggressive come acidi forti (acido muriatico...) e basi forti (soda
caustica...); sostanze molto aggressive per sgorgare i lavelli; solventi utilizzati nel settore della verniciatura. Per detergenti industriali o altro di cui
non si conosce l'aggressività, fare la prova in una zona non a vista prima di applicare sull'intero prodotto.
AVVERTENZE PER L'USO:
Questo prodotto è stato progettato per un uso domestico o similare e deve essere installato ed impiegato solamente all'interno a temperatura
ambiente.
Attenzione alle ustioni, utilizzare acqua tiepida miscelata.
Sono pericolosi l'uso o la vicinanza di apparecchi elettrici (radio, asciugacapelli, stufette elettriche ...) quando si sta usando questo prodotto.
AVVERTENTE AGGIUNTIVE PER L'USO DI VASCHE E PIATTI DOCCIA:
Questo prodotto non deve essere usato autonomamente da persone con ridotte capacità motorie, sensitive e/o cognitive (bambini inclusi), o
comunque prive di nozioni necessarie per il suo utilizzo.
Assicurarsi che i bambini vengano sorvegliati da una persona responsabile della loro sicurezza.
Porre particolarmente attenzione quando si utilizza il prodotto da soli: restare a lungo sotto il getto dell'acqua calda potrebbe causare nausea,
capogiri, svenimenti.
È sconsigliabile fare la doccia/bagno dopo l'assunzione di medicinali o comunque sostanze che possono indurre sonnolenza o alterare la
pressione sanguigna.
Quando bagnata la superficie del piatto doccia / vasca aumenta la il suo grado di scivolosità, in particolare se vengono usati shampoo, sapone e
olii.

DAILY CARE
In order to preserve the original surface characteristics of the matt material, please follow the few short and simple rules of good maintenance
below. Taking care of this product is quick and easy. Clean using soapy water or a common detergent to remove most stains and the dirt that
may have deposited on the surface. Gel detergents and abrasive products are particularly recommended in combination with a scrub sponge of
the "Scotch Brite" type. Thoroughly rinse the surface with abundant water. In this way, you can make sure the original distinctive opaque finish
is safely preserved.
HOW TO PREVENT DAMAGES
This surface is highly resistant to stains, in general. Nevertheless, we do not recommend the use of aggressive chemicals such as acetone,
trichlorethylene or strong acids or bases. Some substances such as ink, cosmetics and dyes may stain the surface if in prolonged contact with the
material. All stains can however be removed by following the directions below. Cigarette burns can be removed according to the same procedure.
Do not use metal scrapers, iron brushes, blades, cutters or other metal domestic utensils to remove marks, paint, plaster or similar. Avoid knocks
and dropping objects on the product. Avoid thermal shocks: do not use hot water (above 55°C/130°F) and do not pour boiling oil or liquids on the
surface. Do not rest very hot objects, cigarettes or flames on the surface. Do not use direct hot steam to clean the surface.
REMEDIES FOR INCIDENTALLY OCCURRED DAMAGES
Some improper uses may cause visible defects on the surface. Signs of wear, scratches, persistent stains or chipping can be generally fixed by
extraordinary maintenance. Small surface damage can be restored using a Scotch Brite (3M registered trademark) scrub sponge combined with
a common abrasive cleaner. If the damage is still visible, smooth again the area using extra-fine sandpaper.
Suitable products: Detergent creams or powders such as CIF
Denatured ethyl alcohol and products for limestone removal (Viakal) can also be used, making sure the surface is then rinsed thoroughly. If you do
not know how potentially aggressive a detergent is, test it on a small, hidden area before use.
Unsuitable products: Solvents such as acetone or trichlorethylene and other chemicals such as strong acids (e.g. muriatic acid) or strong bases
(e.g. caustic soda) or very aggressive substances for clearing sink drains, solvents used in wall painting etc. Industrial detergents or other
products of unknown properties should be first tested on an area that is not visible before applying the product on the entire surface.
USAGE WARNINGS:
This product has been designed for domestic use or similar. It must be installed and used indoors at room temperature only.
Risk of burns. Use mixed lukewarm water.
It is dangerous to use electrical equipment such as radios, hairdryers, electric heaters etc. when you are using the product, or to have this
equipment near the product when in use.
ADDITIONAL USAGE WARNINGS FOR BATHTUBS AND SHOWER TRAYS:
This product must not be used autonomously by people with physical, sensory or cognitive difficulties (including children), or anyone without the
necessary knowledge of how to use it.
Ensure children are supervised by a person responsible for their safety.
Take care when using the product alone: spending a long time under the hot water jet may cause nausea, dizziness and fainting.
Showering/bathing is not recommended after taking medicines or any substances that may cause drowsiness or alter blood pressure levels.
When the shower tray/bathtub surface is wet, it becomes slipperier, especially if shampoos/soaps/oils are used.
