1. Bottom appearance panel removal – use 7mm socket to remove (10) screws from bottom
appearance panel. Use 10mm socket to remove (2) washer nuts from heat shield and appearance panel
tab. Remove the appearance panel. Keep all fasteners and appearance panel for reinstallation.
3. Heat shield trimming – trim the area on the heat shield
as shown in Figure 2.

4. Factory bumper bolts removal – use 10mm socket to remove (2)
inboard factory bolts from bumper beam each side, see Figure 1.

2. Lowering exhaust – use exhaust removal pliers to remove (2)
exhaust hanger rods from rubber isolator each side. Use a support
or strap to keep muffler from getting damaged.
