3a. Hitch and bumper beam installation – apply silicone sealant to
the hitch bracket mounting surfaces and around the perimeter of
mounting holes to prevent intrusion of water and exhaust fumes.
3c. Hitch and bumper beam installation - Loosely reinstall the (8)
M10 flange hex nuts onto studs on bumper beam, (4) per side.

3b. Hitch and bumper beam installation - Place the hitch onto the
bumper beam aligning holes in hitch with studs on bumper beam.
Raise hitch and bumper beam onto vehicle aligning studs in bumper
with holes in end panel.
4. Tighten all M10 fasteners with torque wrench
to 42 Lb.-Ft. (57 N*M).
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
