Important Safeguards

DANGER: CONTAINS BUTANE.
EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. CONTENTS
UNDER PRESSURE.
Caution
• Do not expose to temperatures of
more than 50 °C or 120 °F (for
instance: glove compartment of cars),
or direct sunlight for long periods of
time.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Do not allow the appliance to
become wet.
• When starting the appliance please
ensure that it is held away from the
hair, face and clothing. Do not start
the appliance while it is in the hair in
order to avoid damage to the hair.
• Only use on hair that has been dried.
• Do not use hair spray during styling.
If using aerosol sprays or flammable
liquids before styling your hair, allow
5 minutes before turning the styling
iron on to let flammable vapors
disperse.
• Use Braun energy cells only.
• Energy cell contains flammable
butane gas under pressure.
• Keep away from sparks and flames
(burning cigarettes as well). Do not
smoke while using or refilling.
• Avoid touching the hot parts of the
product.
• When hot, do not place on surfaces
which are not heat resistant.

• Do not take apart, puncture or
incinerate.
• If the appliance is damaged, stop
using it immediately. For repairs refer
to authorized Braun Service Centers
only.

that are three times smoother than
conventional ceramic plates. The
NanoGlide Ceramic plates straighten
your hair friction-free and protect
against stress and damage for naturally
healthy, shiny hair.

Before use
Removing the protective cover
Press the cool touch ribs (E) to release
the protective cover (A) and remove it.
Inserting or changing the Braun
energy cell
In order to insert or change the energy
cell, the energy supply must be
switched off (switch B on position «0»).
• Press the release button (G) to pull
off the handle (H).
• Insert a Braun energy cell into the
handle (arrows on energy cell
pointing upwards).
