As supplied by Dell, the nonvolatile random-access memory (NVRAM) on the QLogic
host bus adapter card is optimized for use with a Dell PowerVault 650F , 651F , or
630F redundant arrays of independent disks (RAID) storage system.
If you use the host bus adapter card with a PowerVault 250F or 251F JBOD storage
system or you need to restore the settings for use with a PowerVault 650F , 651F , or
630F RAID storage system, follow the instructions in the appropriate section.

If you are using the host bus adapter card with a Dell PowerVault 250F or 251F JBOD
storage system, perform the following steps to reconfigure the cards NVRAM
settings:
1.
Insert the QLogic drivers and firmware update diskette into the systems diskette
drive and boot the system.
2.
When the D? prompt appears, type FGQYUDP?MERG and press <Enter>.
3.
Type TO[XWLO and press <Enter>.
A list appears showing the addresses of the host bus adapters installed in the
system.
4.
Type the correct adapter address and press <Enter>.
5.
Press <L> and then press <Enter> to write the NVRAM.
6.
Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 to update the NVRAM of any other host bus adapters
installed in the system.
7 .
After you finish updating the NVRAM for all host bus adapter cards in the system,
you must turn off and then turn on the system for the changes to take effect.
