If you are using the host adapter card with a JBOD storage system and you need to
connect a RAID storage system to the card, perform the following steps to reconfig-
ure the card’s NVRAM settings:
Insert the QLogic drivers and firmware update diskette into the system’s diskette

drive and boot the system.
2.
When the D ? prompt appears, type FGQYUDP?UDLG and press <Enter>.
3.
Type TO[XWLO and press <Enter>.
A list appears showing the addresses of the host bus adapters installed in the
system.
4.
Type the correct adapter address and press <Enter>.
5.
Press <L> and then press <Enter> to write the NVRAM.
6.
Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 to update the NVRAM of any other host bus adapters
installed in the system.
7 .
After you finish updating the NVRAM for all host bus adapter cards in the system,
you must turn off and then turn on the system for the changes to take effect.
