IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS GB
- Do not expose the battery charger to rain. Only for internal use.
- The connection to the power supply network must be carried out in accordance with the
national installation rules.
- It allows disconnecting the device from the power supply network after installation.
The disconnection can be achieved by leaving access to the plug or by embedding a switch
in the fixed system in accordance to the rules of installation.
- Do not perform any maintenance without having disconnected the 230 V power supply
network.
- Disconnect the power supply before connecting or disconnecting the connections to the
battery.
- Before connecting the power feeder/charger to a generator, make sure that
the output voltage is stable.
- If the cables or the input/output connectors are damaged, contact the service centre.
- Ensure a free space of minimum 30 mm at each end of the charger.
Install the battery charger in a dry and well ventilated place. Do not block the air vents
placed on the lid.
- The lead-acid batteries produce internal explosive gases during charging:
prevent the formation of flames or sparks and place the batteries in a well
ventilated space.
- Avoid charging other types of rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries: these
batteries can explode, causing personal injuries and damages.
- Do not use the power feeder/charger in place which present an explosion hazard.
- To recharge the batteries for vehicles:
First, connect the disconnected battery terminal to the frame.
The other connection must be performed to the frame, at a distance from the battery and
from the fuel pipe. The battery charger is then connected to the power supply network.
After charging, disconnect the battery charger from the power supply network. Then,
disconnect it from the frame and then connect the battery.
- The device can be used by children of at least 8 years old and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or who have a lack of the
necessary experience and/or
knowledge, provided that they are supervised or after receiving instructions on the
safe use of the device and provided that the related dangers are understood. Children
should not play with the device. The cleaning and maintenance operations aimed to be
performed by the user should not be performed by unsupervised children.
