How not to store the reading
Press the O/I button while the reading is being displayed. Keep the button pressed
until CL is flashing and then release it. Confirm by pressing the M-button.
Discontinuing a measurement
If it is necessary to interrupt a blood pressure measurement for any reason (e.g.
the patient feels unwell), the «O/I» button can be pressed at any time. The pres-
sure in the cuff is immediately reduced.
Recalibration («TEST» mode) in case of absurd results of measurement, press
on the button «TEST» to recalibrate. An aural signal announces in the end of the
calibration.
6. CLAIMS OF USE
6.1. Planned uses
• Measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure, pulse on arm
• Use on adults only
• Use at home and in support of treatment.

6.2. Restrictions of use

• Do not use on children or infants.
• Not suitable for measurement on an unscheduled body part, such as wrist or leg.
• Not suitable if the cuff is not placed at the correct height on the arm.
• Not suitable if the cuff used is not the right size.
• Sit in a quiet environment for at least 5 minutes taking the measurement.
• In no case should you change the doses of medication prescribed by your doctor.
• The measurement of blood pressure can not be done outside the expected envi-
ronmental ranges: 10-40 ° C and relative humidity between 15-90%.
• Not suitable for use in a vibration emitting environment, electromagnetic field,
direct sunlight, etc.
Thus, the ES-60® Electronic Blood Pressure Monitor is not suitable for use during
patient transport and is not compatible with electrosurgery.
