Programming station

10.4 Sequence

1. The conveyor motor is switched on when a workpiece is detected. The workpiece is transported on the
conveyor belt to the programming module's loading position.
2. The diffuse sensor at the conveyor module's middle position detects the workpiece and the conveyor
motor is switched off.
Workpiece detected and should be programmed.
3. The programming module advances the loading slide. The conveyor motor runs in reverse and moves
the workpiece into the loading slide. After the programming module's diffuse sensor has detected the
microcontroller system EasyKit, the loading slide is retracted and it positions the workpiece at the
programming position.
4. The workpiece aligning motor is started. A capacitive proximity sensor detects the workpiece
attachment's joystick. The aligning motor is switched off. The workpiece is correctly positioned for
programming.
5. The programming plug is inserted up into the microcontroller system's programming socket by means of
a pneumatic cylinder. After programming has been completed, the pneumatic cylinder moves the
programming plug back down into its initial position.
The workpiece is pushed onto the conveyor belt after successful programming. If an error occurs during
programming, it's displayed at the screen.
Workpiece detected and should not be programmed.
6. The workpiece is transported through the station without stopping.
Note
Errors which occur during programming are indicated at the programming module's display.
