FIELD OF APPLICATION
Equipment specially designed for applying liquid doses.
2
CALIBRATION
1) Read the phytosanitary treatment label carefully as to determine product dose per plant.
2) Depending on the crop and soil conditions, select the discharge volume (water + product) between 10 and 75 ml (cc) per plant.
3) Turn the part (1162) to the left as shown in Figure 2.3 until the metal part (a) is inside the body (1162).
4) Lower the lever and insert the part (1162) into the dispensing slot above the lever until the part's screw (1162) is in the slot.
5) Slide the part (1162) into the slot selecting the required dose.
6) After positioning the part (1162) facing the required dose, turn the part clockwise until the metal part (a) comes out of the body (1162).
7) To ensure the fastening's sturdiness and to secure the repeatability of the dose, verify that the part (1162) is fully seated in the toothed profi le
and the metal part (a) is outside the body (1162).
8) Perform a stroke with the selected dose and verify that the amount of product dispensed coincides with that selected. Otherwise consult the
FAQs section.
3
START-UP AND USE
1) Assemble the lance and attach it using the chamber hose. Assemble the straps (see drawing) and verify that all items are properly screwed on
in order to prevent possible leakages.
2) Remove the lid and pour the liquid to be treated. Use the fi lter.
3) Operate the lever approximately 2-3 times to release air from the circuit and verify homogeneous fl ow of the liquid.
4) Place the lever stop in the desired dose as shown in the calibration section.
5) Adjust the equipment to the back adjusting the straps
6) Start treatment following the recommendations of the phytosanitary product used.
4
MAINTENANCE
1) After each use, clean the tank and other components with water, using water cycles to ensure that all components are clean.
2) If the nozzle is blocked (1161) clean the nozzle with water and do not use metal objects. If the nozzle is loosened, ensure that the ball or the
non-return spring is not lost.
3) For maximum durability of seals, apply regularly a few oil drops to the moving parts.
4) When replacing the seal of the chamber (120) due to wear and tear, remove the coupling lance (1030) and take out the chamber (1158); when
taking out the chamber, the agitator (106) will fall to the bottom of the tank, and then proceed to remove it. Unscrew the valve (1157) using
the cross-piece of the agitator. Replace the seal and proceed to assemble the valve and chamber upside down. ENSURE THAT THE VALVE IS
INSERTED INTO THE SUCTION HOSE.
5) To proceed with the replacement due to the wear and tear of the cylinder (092), disassemble the hook lance (1030) and remove the chamber
(1158) and the guide nut (1035). Insert the chamber to the bottom and unscrew in an anti-clockwise direction. Remove the chamber and
replace the cylinder.
6) Store the sprayer indoors protected from frost and fi erce heat (between 5º and 30º C).
