Brake Control Wiring Harness
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Locate the vehicles OEM brake control connector socket
under the dash near the emergency
brake pedal (Fig. 1). The connector
will be similar to that found on the
Brake Control Wiring Harness and
designed to mate with it. Refer to the
vehicles owners manual for
additional information in locating this connector.
3. Connect the Brake Control Harness wires to the wires on
the Electric Brake Control (not supplied) in the following
manner by using the butt connectors (provided):
Adapter
Black
White
Red
Blue
Caution: The above referenced brake control wire
colors are for reference only. Verify the correct wire
colors for your electric brake control by referencing
the instruction manual supplied by the manufacturer.
4. Plug the Brake Control Harness connector into the vehicle
harness connector, ensuring that the locking tabs engage.
5. Raise the vehicle's hood and locate the secondary fuse
