USES
Mild to moderate sprains and strains; injury prevention, chronically weak
ankles.
CAUTION
1. Patients should be instructed to inspect their foot, ankle, and this
product before and after each use.
2. This product is designed to be worn over an athletic sock. If any
problems occur with this product please contact your certified
medical professional. Measure ankle circumference over an athletic
sock around the base of the heel and across the ankle bone to
compare with the sizing chart to ensure proper product fit.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Disconnect Figure-8 Straps (E)* and loosen laces
2. Insert foot into the brace toes first. Place heel securely into the Heel
Opening (G). Adjust the Tongue (D) if necessary – making sure it is
on top of the foot. (Fig.1)
3. Lace up the brace using either the Lace Hooks (B) (Fig.2) or the
Lace Eyelets (C) (Fig.3).
4. For version with Figure-8 Straps: Wrap the inside (medial) Figure-8
Strap (E)* over the top of the laces and underneath the foot. Then
fasten the end of the strap to the Loop Material (A) located on the
inner side of the brace. Repeat for outside (lateral) Figure-8 Strap
(E)* (Fig. 4).
5. Stand and apply full weight to the brace. Adjust Figure-8 Straps (E)*
and laces to ensure a snug fit and maximum support (Fig. 5).
NOTE: During athletic activity the brace can be quickly adjusted to
optimize comfort and support: use the Finger Pull Tabs (F) to adjust the
tension on the Figure-8 Straps (E)*.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
1. This product may be cleaned using a mild detergent and 30°C
(86°F) water. Remove shoe laces and hand wash separately. Fasten
straps as if in use. Do not use bleach or strong detergents.
2. Lay brace out flat on a towel and air dry. Do not squeeze or wring
out the brace. Do not place in dryer or near heater. Inspect brace
carefully after each washing.
