FUNCTION

Antenna (Copper)

GND (Mesh)
To improve the signal gain, make an antenna using an RG59 coaxial cable, lea-
ving the internal "live" copper wire (exposed and isolated from the mesh), with a
length of 17.5 cm. If there is a ramp, interlocked doors or roller shutters, elements
of iron or aluminum construction that shield the signal, check carefully that the
"live" of the antenna is above the door sheets. If necessary, install a second
Receiver. In such cases, ideally use a relay output that has not been used in the
opposite Receiver, e.g., External Receiver - Relay 1 (button 1 on the control)
and Internal Receiver - Relay 2 (button 2 on the control). Generally, placing the
Receiver or the tip of the antenna at a height above the top of the door improves
signal gain.
