PROPER COOLER CARE & CLEANING
Warning: To avoid electric shock always unplug your cooler before cleaning.
Ignoring this warning may result in death or injury.
Caution:
Before using cleaning products, always read and follow instructions
in this user guide and warnings to avoid injury or product damage.
General:
Prepare a cleaning solution then use sponge or soft cloth, damped with
clean warm water, to wipe down your cooler dampened.
Wipe clean with a towel and warm water and dry with a soft cloth.
Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, ammonia, chlorine bleach,
concentrated detergents, solvents or metal scouring pads. These chemicals
and abrasives may dissolve, damage and/or discolor your cooler.

Door Gaskets

Clean door gaskets every three months. Gaskets must be kept clean and
pliable to assure a proper seal.
Petroleum jelly applied lightly on the hinge side of gaskets will keep the
gasket pliable and assure a good seal.

Power Interruptions

Occasionally there may be power interruptions due to thunderstorms or
other causes. Remove the power cord from AC outlet when a power outage
occurs. When power has been restored. Clean inside the cooler before
repluging, then replug power cord to AC outlet.

Vacation and Moving Care

For long vacations or absences, unplug the power cord from AC outlet,
empty the cooler and clean the cooler and door gaskets according to
"General cleaning" section. Prop door open, so air can circulate inside.
children may be around the cooler while on vacation or otherwise absent for an
extended period, it is recommended that you remove the cooler door from its
hinges and leave the shelves in the cooler to reduce entrapment and suffocation
hazards.
