2.4. Limited duration of use
SpillGuard® cannot be used once it has

detected a leak and must be replaced.
Due to its construction SpillGuard®

must be replaced at the latest
after 5 years, to guarantee successful leak
detection.

3. Requirements for the
installation location
SpillGuard® is is mainly to be used in the
bottom of a spill sump.
The following prerequisites must be met:
The base of the spill sump must be free of

any type of contamination.
SpillGuard must be aligned parallel to
W
the ground.
There must be suffi cient space available
W
for SpillGuard®.
The installation location should be at the
W
lowest point of the spill sump so that a
leak is detected as early as possible.
WARNING
• The product must not be exposed to
damage caused by containers being put
into or taken out of storage.
• There is a risk of explosion and this can
lead to serious injuries!
• Place and operate the equipment in such
a way that damage is excluded.
