Start playback at phono for the track which you want to record to USB.

At the end of recoding, press and hold the REC button (15) until the LCD stops flashing and returns to
phono mode.
Track separation (by remote handset)
You can divide the recording music from phono to USB track by trace during encoding. Every time when
press the "
" (track separation) button once at remote handset during encoding from phono to
USB, the system will generate a new track and continuous the recording. The current text at LCD display
will flashing one time, it mean the unit is creating a new track successfully.
Encoding bit rate (by remote handset)
You can select the desired bitrate during encoding from CD or phono to USB, the selectable range from 32
/ 64 /96 /128 / 192 / 256 kbps.

Set in "Phono " function (6) & remain stop mode.
•
Press the " Info " function and the LCD display will show the default bitrate (128 kbps)
•
Press skip buttons (13/2) to select the desired bitrate for encoding.
•
Press INFO to confirm the setting and the LCD display (1) resume to phono mode
Delete files (USB Mode) (Remote Control)
Delete single files
•
Press and hold the " Info " button for 3 seconds and the LCD display (1) will show (del ---001)
•
Press NEXT/BACK (13/2) button to select the file going to delete.
•
Press REC to enter "yes/no"-mode and then skip forward or skip backward (13/2) to select.
•
Press REC button again to confirm the setting.
Delete all files
•
Press and hold INFO for 3 seconds and the LCD display (1) will show (del ---001)
•
Press and hold INFO again to enter " FORMAT 7N " mode and then press skip forward skip back-
ward (13/2) to select YES or NO.
•
Press REC to confirm the settings.
Remark: All the files inside the USB storage media will be deleted completely after confirming to "yes"
mode.
Removing USB drive / memory card
To remove the USB, turn off the power or switch the function mode to either CD or tuner first. For USB port
– un-plug it by pulling out the USB socket directly.
You can connect the system to your whole hifi system by connecting the line out socket (27) to the
auxiliary input socket with a RCA cable (not included).
