FAQ: Parking Sensor Beeper PSLQ10
No signal is received when reverse gear is engaged.
• Check that the module is correctly connected to the reverse gear light.
• Check that the vehicle is not fi tted with consummation monitoring.
The parking sensor does not detect obstacles.
• Check that the sensor order with the unit has been respected.
• The Beeper does not make any sounds: check the connection with the unit and the buzzer installation
input.
• In certain situations, the parking assistant may not precisely indicate an obstacle:
• Low and inclined obstacles
• Curved obstacles
• Inclined surfaces.
• Very intense rainfall or snowfall
The parking sensor does not appear to be working correctly.
• The sensor may have received an impact.
• Check that arrow on the rear section is pointing upwards (↑UP).
• Check that the sensors are installed on the vertical part of the bumpers.
• Check that the cable connector from the sensor is correctly fi tted to the control unit.
• Verify that the sensor wiring is not deteriorated or broken at any point.
• Check that the sensors have been installed at the correct heights (50~70 cm).
The parking sensor continuously whistles when there is no obstacle within its
fi eld of action:
• The sensor may have received an impact.
• Check that arrow on the rear section is pointing upwards (↑UP).
• Check that the sensors are installed on the vertical part of the bumpers.
• If the sensors are installed too low, they may detect the ground, ensure that they are installed at the
correct height (50~70 cm).
• The sensor may be dirty or wet, which is interfering with correct operation. Clean the sensor surface.
• Check that there is no excessive paint on the sensor surface.

Acoustic signal:

• Acoustic signal too high; fi nd another location for the beeper.
• Acoustic signal too low: fi nd another location for the beeper.
• Distorted acoustic signal:
• Check the connection with the unit and the buzzer installation input.
• Dirt inside the beeper.
• The vehicle is fi tted with consummation monitoring.
