Basic settings
The radio must be switched off to carry out the different settings.
You can change the following settings:

Time
•
Date
•
SDA (special date alarm)
•
Automatic update function via the Radio Data System on/off
•
Set display brightness (dimmer)
•
Set automatic dim function yes/no
•
Start time auto dimmer
•
End time auto dimmer
•
12/24-hour mode
NOTE
If no button is activated in the settings menu within 10 seconds, the
menu is automatically terminated. Settings made up to this point are
saved. You must go through the whole menu again to make any further
changes. Operation
Setting the time manually
Press the MODE
Press the
button to put the time forward by one minute.
Press the
button to put the time back by one minute.
Hold down the

Setting the SDA (special date alarm)
The SDA function can save up to 6 (recurring) dates such as birthdays. The de-
vice has an alarm tone to indicate the special date on the relevant day and can be
switched off with any button. If the alarm is not acknowledged, it will be repeated
for 10 minutes every hour from 08:00 hours until 23:00 hours.
