 Press the MODE
 "SDA1" and the date will flash alternately on the display.
 Use the
button to select the memory space for the special date alarm (SDA1–
SDA6).
 Press the
button to put the date forward by one day.
 Press the
button to put the date back by one day.
 Hold down the
10 days.
 Press the TIMER button to disregard the year.
NOTE
If the year is disregarded, the special date alarm is activated on this date
every year.
 Press the MODE
NOTE
The start time of the special date alarm cannot be changed.
Automatic update function via the Radio Data System
on/off
 Press the MODE
 UPDATE appears in the display.
 Press the
button to switch off the automatic update function. No data will be
received via the Radio Data System.
 Press the
button to activate the automatic update function.
 The clock symbol in the display will start to flash.
 While the clock symbol is flashing, the device retrieves information via the Radio
Data System.
NOTE
Radio Data System is a service provided by broadcasters. In addition to
traditional music and voice services, they also broadcast additional in-
formation in the form of encrypted digital signals that can be analysed
and displayed by the radio. On the display, you can see the programme
name and other information (current time, traffic information, the title
of the track currently being played, etc.).
