CAUTION! Do not cover air inlets and outlets.
7. Press "Cool" (1e) to start air cooling / humidifying. The water pump starts to force water
through the tubing to the water evaporation filter (6), where the air flow supplied by the air
cooler is cooled down. The water leaves the water evaporation filter back to the water tank.
The operation of the process is indicated by the "Cool" control lamp (1k). Pressing the (1e)
button again deactivates the process.
8. Check the water tank (8) level frequently. If the water level falls below MIN, stop the air cooler,
unplug it from the mains, and refill with water to a correct level.
CAUTION! Never leave the air cooler running with not enough water in the tank: risk of damage to the water
pump!
CAUTION! Do not fill with water over the MAX level.
9. Use the Swing button (1c) to start and stop the louvre swing function to have the air flow
oscillate. The vertical louvre (3) starts swinging back and forth to make the cool air flow from
the left to the right and through the middle of the front of the air cooler. The process is indi-
cated by the "Swing" lamp (1i). The re-use of the "Swing" button (1c) disables the oscillation.
10. You can set the horizontal louvre (2) by hand to choose how much the cool air flow should
be tilted down or up.
11. Pressing the "Speed" button (1d) cycles through the fan speeds, and the current fan speed is
shown by its indicator light (1j) being on. You can select from three fan speeds:
 Low: low fan speed
 Mid: medium fan speed
 Hi: high fan speed
12. Operate the "Mode" button (1f) to select the fan mode. The current fan mode is shown by its
indicator light (1l) being on. You can select from three fan modes:
Normal: normal; the set fan speed is constant
Natural: natural; the fan speed varies to simulate a natural air draught
Sleep: sleep; a silent fan mode with reduced and variable fan speed
13. You can set the time to automatically turn off the air cooler with the "Timer" button (1b). The
selected off time is shown by its indicator light (1h) being on. The off time is adjustable from
0.5 to 7.5 hours in 0.5-hour increments. The off time shown by the indicator lights which are
on is aggregated.
14. To stop the air cooler, press the ON/OFF button (1a).
15. When done using the air cooler, unplug it from the mains.
16. If you do not want to use the air cooler for more than 1 day, you must empty the water
tank (8). Do this by releasing the lock lever and gently pulling the water tank out of the air
cooler. Place a low container of sufficient capacity below the water tank and remove the
drain plug (9). Once all water has been drained, replace the drain plug and slide the water
tank back in, and secure the lock lever.
17. All of the above commands can be operated with the remote control (14) which features the
buttons identical in function to the respective buttons on the control panel.
