Care and Cleaning

To prolong the original appearance, clean the light fixture with clear water and a soft, damp cloth only.
□
Do not use paints, solvents, or other chemicals on this light fixture. They could cause a premature
deterioration of the finish. This is not a defect in the finish and will not be covered by the warranty.

Do not spray the light fixture with a hose or power washer.
Troubleshooting
Problem
The light will not come on.
The light comes on during
the day.
The light is dim or will not
come on.
The lantern base is shining
and the light is dimly lit while
on the lantern base.
Possible Cause
□
The light switch is turned off.
□
The fuse is blown or the circuit
breaker is turned off.
□
The circuit wiring is incorrect (if this
is a new installation).
□
Daylight turn-off (photocell) is in
effect.
The photocell is not detecting daylight (it
is covered or obstructed).
□
The lantern is not on the lantern
base and is running off of the
rechargeable battery backup.
□
The battery tab is still in the light.
□
The lantern is not on the lantern
base and the rechargeable battery
has died.
The light is not fully seated on the
lantern base.
Solution

This is the normal operation when
the photocell is not detecting enough
light to turn the lantern off.
□

Ensure the light is fully seated on
the lantern base and the connectors
are fully engaged. See Installation,
step 7.

Turn the light switch on.
Replace the fuse or turn the
circuit breaker on.
Verify the wiring is correct.
Recheck after dark.
This is the normal operation
when the lantern is not on the
lantern base.
Remove the battery tab from
the back of the light. See
Installation, step 6.
Replace the lantern onto the
lantern base and allow the
battery to recharge (up to 8
hours).
