HELPFUL TIPS
NEVER leave the unit unattended while operating.
SMOKING
During first use, you may notice slight smoking or a slight odor; this is normal with most
new appliances. Allow the appliance to preheat until smoke and odor no longer exists.
SERVING TEMPERATURE
For best results, use the unit at the maximum temperature setting to quickly reach the
desired temperature, then adjust the Temperature Control Knob. Serving temperature
is from 140°F minimum - 165°F maximum (60°C minimum - 75°C maximum).
All foods have different consistencies so depending on what is being
served, you may need to adjust the temperature lower or higher
to maintain a minimum temperature of 140°F (60°C).
It is recommended to periodically check the temperature of
food with a food thermometer while serving.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Please take care of your BUFFET SERVER & WARMING TRAY by
following these simple instructions and precautions.
•
Allow the unit to cool completely, then remove the Cooking Pans, Lids and Frame.
These items can be submerged in soapy water. Rinse well and wipe dry.
•
Wipe the Warming Tray base unit with a dry, non-abrasive cloth or sponge
to remove food and liquid, preparing your buffet for the next use.
•
NEVER use an abrasive sponge, cloth or scouring pad on this
unit as it will damage the stainless steel construction.
•
NEVER place any parts in the dishwasher. Always wash by hand.
•
If there is any breakdown or damage, the appliance must be repaired by authorized
technicians. Non-authorized technicians are not permitted to dismantle the appliance.
RECIPES
With the BUFFET SERVER & WARMING TRAY you can enjoy a variety
of meals and serve guests with style! Here are some great ideas for
ways you can use your BUFFET SERVER & WARMING TRAY:
•
DESSERT BAR
Place your choice of ice cream in each of the three covered trays and place
over ice. Place hot fudge, caramel and strawberry toppings inside of oven-
safe bowls and place bowls on the Warming Tray to keep warm.
•
THEMED PARTY FOODS
Have a taco night or nacho night and fill each station of the Buffet with hot toppings and
fillings like refried beans, rice, meat or nacho cheese. Alternately, you can take out the
stations of the Buffet and fill with cold ingredients like sour cream, salsa and guacamole and
then put hot ingredients in oven-safe bowls and place on the Warming Tray to keep warm.
For fun finger foods, put cold finger foods like cut up vegetables and fruit in
the stations of the Bufffet and put hot finger foods like egg rolls and sausages
in bowls or oven-safe dishes and place on Warming Tray to keep warm.
With a little imagination, you can come up with special
uses for your buffet. Be creative and enjoy!
