6. Check the battery charge level by pressing the charge indicator on the battery. Do not
use if it is in red only. If necessary, be aware of the instructions on page 56 to 58.
7. Check the general condition of the machine and battery socket. Look for cracks,
clearances, loose parts inside, among others. Note: The presence of some slack in the
battery holder with the power tool is a normal condition, not a malfunction.
3.5. Kickback and drilling strategy
The kickback is a violent reaction of the
hammer in the direction opposite to the
movement, created by the torque and inertia
of the rotating parts. Maintain a good posture
and hold the hammer firmly whenever you
use it. Do not use the hammer by holding
it with one hand. Do not apply excessive
pressure to the power tool when doing the
work; besides increasing the wear of the
drills and increase the kickback, this action
does not improve the efficiency of the work.
This power tool has an electronic overload
protection system that is activated in the
event of a locking. If you notice that the
system has been triggered, shut off the
machine by the trigger, correct the working
conditions and switch it back on. Although
this system has protection, it is only activated
with a full lock and the constant drive tends
to degrade the machine. Avoid exposing the
equipment to such situations repeatedly.
