Cylindrical insert drills can be used through the intermediation of a chuck with SDS
Plus insert. However do not use this adapter in hammering mode.
HSS metal drills should be used at low speeds. If necessary, use PECOL P220, suitable
lubricant for drilling. Hard metals need a little more pressure on the bit.
The maximum efficiency of this hammer will only be grasped with the use of quality
and sharp drills. Investing in quality drills and accessories tends to outweigh the cost
of an inefficient operation. On page 66 you will find indications of items that can be
purchased.

3.11. General recommendation for life extension of drills

The drills will have a longer service life if they are pressed against the material to be
machined and apply a moderate and stable pressure before operating the power tool.
