• Place the pre-collated partial sets in the hand merge
unit one at a time. The Vario will automatically feed the
remaining sheets to deliver a complete set into the
bookletmaker.
Note: The collator will only feed once the set is placed
into the HMS.
Trigger Fingers
Ensure the trigger fingers (see Figure 3) are under the
conveyor shaft. If required, lift up and disengage the unit
from the top mounting studs. Push the two trigger fingers
under the conveyor shaft and into the paper path. Lift the
unit back onto the top mounting studs.

Lift up and then swing out the paper tray (see Figure 3)
to use as a work surface. Ensure the legs of the tray locate
in the inside corners of the unit (see Figure 4).
