General features:
Sensor is a device suitable for the protection of frames (doors/windows) against
intrusion: it detects their opening and closing by a magnetic reed inside. Moreover an
alarm NC input is available on the terminal board, which allows the connection of a
further passive sensor, thus realizing a double protection (for example protection of both
the shutter and the window itself). The sensor is 100% wireless and works with a
classic 9V battery for approx. 2 years; when the battery needs to be substituted, the
sensor signals it in good time both locally and to the control panel.
Test: you can check the correct functioning by simply provoking an alarm. By setting in
testing mode the control panel or the receiver, they confirm the correct receiving of the
alarms (see relevant instructions of used control panel or receiver).
TECHNICAL FEATURES – NOTE: device suitable for indoor and/or outdoor use,
but protected from bad weather
Power supply: 9V alkaline battery type GP1604A or similar - Consumption: 16uA in
stand by, 40mA in alarm – Average autonomy approx. 24 months, with low battery local
indication (LED flashing at every alarm) and transmission to the control panel.
Alarm functions: when the magnet moves away form the sensor body an alarm in the
control unit and/or in the RX (> nome commerciale del ricevitore!!) series receivers relay
output switching is caused, like the NC input opening (or NO closing) on the terminal.
Following the dip-switch programming, an open door warning on the control unit can be
obtained (RX receivers open output until re-closure), the fast impulse sensors control
(terminal), breaking signalling, separate indication in the control unit (or on the RX
receivers) of the generated alarms.
Supervision: every approx. 40 minutes there is a supervision transmission which
confirms to the control panel that the device is working correctly.
Antitampering: the opening of the battery box and the removal of the sensor cause the
tamper alarm to go off. Set the control panel in TESTING mode before changing the
batteries.
