Distance indicator

Assembly notes:
• The Spikes-Spider EASY should be installed on both of your vehicle's drive wheels. In the case of vehicles with four-wheel-drive, take note of the operating
instructions by your vehicle's manufacturer.
• To prepare the assembly, decorative wheel covers, screw or nut covers, or other covers (should there be any) must be removed from the wheels!
• Please use only the included tools for the assembly. Don't use impact screwing tools or pressurized air screwdriver!
• Due to differences in rims, first the correct distance variation must be determined (step 1), and then the size of the clamps for your nut (step 2).
Step 1 (determine the distance variation)
Take the included distance indicator and unfold it completely. Push out the red indicator of the distance indicator from the black tip, to the stop. Hold the
unfolded distance indicator horizontally with both hands and position it in the rim so that the indicator is pushed back, until it touches the wheel screw or
nut and the black/yellow longitudinal sides of the distance indicator touch the rim on both sides. Now you can read the distance value.
Please note: If the arrow is close to the black separator line or even directly on the separator line between the number fields, please use the upper distance
value! Now, using the distance value you determined, choose the required combination of the distance screws (see Illustration), and lay them out. The additi-
onal hexagonal keys are no longer required for the assembly, and can be put aside.
Possible distance value / assignment of distance screws: 1, 2, 3, 4.
