USING THE OVEN
J CONVECTION ROAST
J
The CONVECTION ROAST feature is designed to give
optimum roasting performance. CONVECTION ROAST
combines cooking with the convection fan to roast
meats and poultry. The heated air circulates around the
food from all sides, sealing in juices and flavors. Foods
are crispy brown on the outside while staying moist on
the inside. Convection roasting is especially good for
large tender cuts of meat, uncovered.

J CONVECTION ROAST GUIDE
J
When preparing meats for convection roasting, use
either a broiler pan and grid or a shallow pan with a
roasting rack. A broiler pan will catch grease spills and
the grid will help prevent grease splatters. A roasting
rack will allow the heat to circulate around the meat.
Place the oven rack in rack position A or B. See
1
Rack Guides on next page for details.
Place the cookware on the oven rack.

CAUTION:
• DO NOT use a roasting rack when broiling. This will
help prevent food from coming in contact with the
broil element and grease from splattering.
• DO NOT use the broiler pan without the grid.
• DO NOT cover the grid with aluminum foil.
• Position food fat side up on cookware.
