ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: AFTER ANY MAINTENANCE BE SURE TO
REMOVE AERATOR AND FLUSH BOTH HOT AND COLD
LINES ONE MINUTE EACH.
Your American Craft washerless faucet will give you years of trouble-
free performance. When maintenance is eventually called for it's
a quick clean job with one of the inexpensive Peerless repair kits
available where you bought your faucet. The replacement parts in
these kits will restore your faucet to the same condition as the day
you bought it.
The American Craft 10 year limited warranty on valve mechanism and
chrome plated parts is made possible by superior design, quality parts
and careful workmanship in manufacturing. Should you ever need
replacement parts that are not included in the regular parts kits that
are available where you purchased your faucet, simply write to:

IF FAUCET LEAKS FROM SPOUT—Replace
seats and springs, Repair Kit RP1815.
1. SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES. Remove
handle.
2. Unscrew and remove bonnet nut.
3. Pull stem unit straight out.*
4. Remove seat and spring and replace with a
new seat and spring. Note: Refer to insert
for proper seat and spring installation.
Reassemble faucet in reverse order.
IF LEAK PERSISTS—Replace stem unit
assembly Repair Kit RP2080.*
IF SPRAY ATTACHMENT DOES NOT
FUNCTION PROPERLY—Remove and clean
diverter unit.
1. Unscrew and remove spout nut.
2. Using a coin, unscrew and remove diverter
assembly. Wash diverter thoroughly and
reinstall. Reassemble faucet in reverse
order. If diverter appears damaged, replace
using RP5266.
IF FAUCET LEAKS FROM TOP OR BOTTOM
OF SPOUT BODY—Replace o-rings, RP2080.
1. Remove spout nut. Gently rotate spout and
lift off. Cut and remove old o-rings. Stretch
new o-rings and snap into grooves on body.
Reassemble faucet in reverse order.
CAUTION: Be careful when putting spout
back on to gently rotate until it rests on
escutcheon.
*Refer to page 5 for proper stem unit installation.

SI LA LLAVE TIENE FUGAS EN LA SALDA—
Reemplace los asientos y resortes con el
Equipo para Reparaciones RP1815.
1. CIERRE LOS SUMINISTROS DE AGUA.
Quite la manija.
2. Desenrosque y quite la tuerca del bonete.
3. Hale el vástago derecho hacia afuera.*
4. Saque el asiento y resorte y reemplácelos
con un asiento y resorte nuevo. Nota: vea a
la figura para la instalación apropiada de
asientos y resortes. Vuelva a armar la llave
en orden inverso.
SI LA FUGA PERSISTE—Reemplace el
ensamble de la unidad del vástago RP2080.*
SI EL ENSAMBLE DEL ROCIADOR NO
FUNCIONA BIEN—Quite y limpie el ensam-
ble del desviador.
1. Desenrosque y quite la tuerca de la salida.
2. Usando una moneda, desenrosque y quite
el ensamble del desviador. Lave bien el
desviador y póngalo de nuevo. Vuelva a
armar la llave en el orden inverso. Si el
desviador aparece estar dañado, reemplacelo
usando RP5266.
SI LA LLAVE TIENE FUGAS POR ARRIBA O
ABAJO DEL CUERPO DE LA SALIDA—
Reemplace los anillos "O" con el Equipo
para Reparaciones RP2080.
1. Quite la tuerca de la salida. Con cuidado gire
la salida y sáquela así arriba. Corte y saque
los anillos "O" viejos. Estire los anillos "O"
nuevos y colóquelos en las ranuras del
cuerpo. Vuelva a armar la llave en el orden
inverso. PRECAUCION: Tenga cuidado
cuando este poniendo la salida en su lugar a
girar suavemente hasta que descanse en el
chapetón.
