4.3 Adjusting the volume
Use the volume buttons on the Bluetooth® device you are using
to adjust the listening volume. Press repeatedly the + or – volume
button to adjust the level.
When using a wired headset (optional) connected to TRIBE, adjust
the volume by pressing TRIBE's UP or DOWN key.
4.4 Keypad lock function
There is also a key lock function to ensure that the TRIBE buttons
cannot be pressed accidentally.
a. To lock the buttons press the DOWN key and hold it down for
three seconds; the "key" icon appears on the display confirming
that the keys are locked.
b. To release the buttons, press the DOWN button again for three
seconds; the "key" icon disappears from the display.
5.0 QUICK GUIDE
Brief guide for using TRIBE quickly
a. Make sure the TRIBE battery and the Bluetooth® headset are
charged.
b. Set the Bluetooth® headset in the pairing mode.
c. Press simultaneously, and briefly, the TRIBE MENU and UP keys,
checking that the top LED starts flashing blue.
d. Press the TRIBE MENU key once, the LED starts flashing quickly
indicating the search mode.
e. After a few seconds TRIBE connects automatically to the headset
and the LED turns off.
f. Repeat the procedure with the other TRIBE and Bluetooth®
headsets to use in the same group.
g. Select the channel you want to use on each TRIBE device.
h. Press the MENU button once – the number of the channel in the
middle of the display starts flashing.
i. Press the UP or DOWN button to select the channel number
wanted, from 1 to 8 and vice versa.
j. Press the MENU button once to store the channel chosen
immediately; the new number is now automatically stored and
TRIBE returns to the standby mode.
k. Repeat the procedure with the other TRIBE devices and
