Troubleshooting

Problem
Unit will not operate
Reduced airflow or poor
filtering
Excessive noise
CLEAN FILTER indicator
light will not go off
Possible Cause
• Unit is not plugged in
• No power to unit
• The grills may be
blocked
• HEPA filters may be
clogged
• The unit is not level
• The filter needs to be
cleaned
• The filter needs to be
replaced
• CLEAN/RESET FILTER
INDICATOR has not
been reset

Solution
• Plug unit in
• Press the ON/OFF
button to turn the
power on
• Check circuits, fuses,
try a different outlet
• Check to make sure
nothing is blocking the
grills and air outlets
• Check and clean filter
• Replace the filter
• Place the unit on a flat,
level surface
• Remove filter from unit
and clean using brush
attachment on your
vacuum
• Replace filter –
Model # AR-OTSCFL
• Press and hold the
CLEAN/RESET FILTER
INDICATOR BUTTON
until an audible chime
sounds and the light
turns off
